Job Description:

We are seeking a talented SQA and Automation Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance, a deep understanding of automation testing frameworks, and the ability to collaborate with development teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Assurance:
  Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality across various platforms.
• Automation Testing:
  Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Defect Management:
  Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution.
• Collaboration:
  Work closely with development, product, and DevOps teams to identify testing requirements and incorporate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Performance Testing:
  Perform load and performance testing to assess software scalability and reliability under varying conditions.
• Test Environment Management:
  Set up and maintain test environments, ensuring consistency with production environments.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Continuously refine and improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance software quality and delivery timelines.
• Documentation:
  Create detailed test documentation, including test cases, test results, and defect reports, for review by stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
• Proficiency with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, or Playwright.
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps).
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred:

• Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Knowledge of programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• ISTQB or similar QA certifications.
