Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to protect our organization’s digital assets from cyber threats. The ideal candidate will have expertise in network security, threat detection, risk assessment, and incident response. You will be responsible for implementing security measures, monitoring systems for vulnerabilities, and ensuring compliance with security standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents in real time.
- Implement and manage security tools, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and endpoint protection.
- Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and penetration testing.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Investigate and respond to security breaches, coordinating with IT teams and law enforcement if necessary.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
- Provide security awareness training for employees to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to secure cloud environments and applications.
- Stay up to date with emerging threats and cybersecurity trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or a related role.
- Proficiency in security tools like SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Strong knowledge of network security, encryption, authentication, and access control.
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools (Nessus, Qualys, Metasploit).
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, SOC 2).
- Hands-on experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or OSCP.
- Experience in incident response, forensic analysis, or ethical hacking.
- Knowledge of scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
- Understanding of Zero Trust Architecture and modern cybersecurity frameworks.
