Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services, ensuring the seamless integration of development and operations. You’ll play a key role in maintaining reliable systems, enhancing productivity, and supporting rapid delivery cycles.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Automation:
    Design, implement, and maintain automated infrastructure solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • CI/CD Pipelines:
    Develop, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software development lifecycle.
  • Cloud Operations:
    Deploy and manage scalable, secure infrastructure on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Monitoring and Logging:
    Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or CloudWatch.
  • System Reliability:
    Improve system reliability and performance through best practices in site reliability engineering (SRE).
  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with development, QA, and IT teams to ensure smooth integration and operation of systems.
  • Security Compliance:
    Enforce security best practices and compliance standards across all environments.
  • Troubleshooting:
    Quickly identify and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and disruption.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
  • Expertise with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows server environments.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Splunk, New Relic, DataDog).

Preferred:

  • Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of service mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd.
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Chef or Puppet.
  • Experience with serverless computing and microservices architecture.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
